This is the first Trance Retreat that will be organized in 2022 in Delft. The whole course, the Spiritualist Church in Delft will be your spiritual home. Delft is one of the oldest cities in Holland and enjoys a worldwide reputation due to its connection with Johannes Vermeer, Delft Blue earthenware and the Royal House. Relive its glorious past as you wander along canals, churches, mansions and courtyards. This university town also offers canal tours, museums, markets and many pubs.

During the week we also offer special activities in Delft and they are free of choice. During the evenings you have time for yourself or you can join one of the additional activities that we offer. There are direct flights from different places in Europe and if you come from the US or Australia there are direct flight connections from several cities in Europe to Schiphol Airport. Delft is only 30 minutes from the airport and knows many hotels in walking distance from the Spiritualist Church.

In Trance mediumship it is the Spirit World working with the medium in that state. The medium is in an altered state of consciousness, a more passive state than the normal awakened state. In Trance mediumship (which is still mental mediumship because the Spirit World uses the mind of the medium), the Spirit World can control the mind of the medium. The level of control varies from inspired thought, conscious control, light trance to the deeper or even higher states. When there is control from the Spirit World there is always cooperation between the medium and the Spirit World.

Trance is a sacred journey, a journey to be enjoyed and cherished in companionship with the Spirit World. Trance development is also one of the most difficult areas of mediumship as doubt, lack of confidence and the mind can get in the way. Trance mediumship comprises a special relationship with the spirit controls that work with us. This week will allow you to experience deeper levels of altered states. During this week the main focus is on different aspects of trance. You will gain a greater understanding of spirit communication in your own unique way and be able to develop trust no matter what level of development you are.

The group sessions are from Tuesday- Thursday from 10 am – 5 pm. There are no group sessions on Friday but it will be a day where you have a choice to create your own program and extend it even to the weekend to explore and see more of the wonderful Dutch surroundings or to join one of the activities that we have scheduled in Delft. You will be informed about this at the introduction on Tuesday. Nicole will also work closely with her own Spirit team and offer a trance demonstration during the course.

Important information:

• There is a direct train from Schiphol to Delft

• If you come by car, then please use one of the parking garages in the centre city.

• Hotel “ De Plataan” is the only hotel in a walking distance from the venue that has a free parking space. But there are many other hotels in the area and we will inform you about the possibilities after booking.

• It is easy to extend your stay in Delft with the weekend or to visit Amsterdam, Den Haag or the Dutch coast.
